UAN Number (12 digit), Password of UAN Number ( if you have ), Photo and Aadhaar Card of applicant and Nominee.

Your Mobile number must be linked with your Aadhaar Card. It is necessary at the time of
PF process. An OTP is generated and sent to your Aadhaar linked mobile number. When

It is managed by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
What is Provident Fund Withdrawal?
The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is a retirement savings scheme where both employer and employee contribute monthly.
Withdrawal refers to taking out the accumulated balance (including interest) from the PF account.
It can be done online via the UAN Member e‑Sewa portal or offline using claim forms.
Eligibility for Withdrawal
Retirement: Full withdrawal is allowed after reaching the age of 58.
Unemployment: Partial withdrawal permitted after 2 months of continuous unemployment.
Medical Emergencies: Funds can be withdrawn for hospitalization, surgery, or treatment of serious illness.
Housing Needs: PF balance can be withdrawn after 3 years of membership for purchasing or constructing a house.
Marriage or Education: Withdrawals allowed for self, children, or siblings under certain conditions.
Types of Withdrawal
Final Settlement – Complete withdrawal after retirement or permanent leaving of service.
Partial Withdrawal (Advance) – For specific needs like medical, education, or housing.
Pension Withdrawal – Settlement of pension fund after completing eligible service.
📝 Process of Withdrawal
Online Method:
Log in to the UAN Member e‑Sewa portal.
Verify KYC details (Aadhaar, PAN, bank account).
Submit withdrawal request using the appropriate form.
Track claim status online.
Offline Method:
Use Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar) if UAN is KYC compliant.
Use Composite Claim Form (Non‑Aadhaar) if UAN is not KYC compliant.
Submit the form to the regional EPFO office.
✅ Key Points to Remember
No tax is levied if PF is withdrawn after 5 years of continuous service.
Premature withdrawal (before 5 years) may attract tax.
UAN (Universal Account Number) is mandatory for online claims.
Processing time is usually 15–20 working days.
